Location: Kampala, Uganda
Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
Adjust content of sales presentations by gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
Negotiate price, costs, delivery and specifications with customers, challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitor and evaluate competitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Advise clients on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
The ideal candidate should at least hold a Diploma in a relevant discipline
At least three years’ experience in the industry
Good report writing skills
