POSITION: ;TRAFFIC LIAISON OFFICER ;(5 POSTS)

MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and ensure efficient and effective check in and boarding of passengers in compliance with carriers policy/ procedures and customer expectations;

Supervise baggage handling and prepare weekly baggage handling report. Liaise with the Ground Handling Agents (GHA) to ensure lost baggage is communicated, traced, and delivered to affected passenger;

To ensure conformity with all regulatory’ requirements, organization standards and local procedures as well as requirements of customer airlines;

Effective communication internally and externally to enable effective planning control and reporting;

To ensure a safe & secure working environment in compliance with relevant legislative/industry requirements;

Audit, review and report on sen-ice delivery to monitor compliance on Sen’ice level Agreements (SLAS’s) availed to GHA;

To ensure integrity and accuracy manual and computerized data processing;

Control of excess baggage collection and remittance;

Record all flight movements as per company requirement.

REMUNERATION:

All above positions carry’ an attractive remuneration and benefits as per ATCL Salary- Scales and Incentive Scheme.

Five (5) years contract (renewable) upon successful Performance.

Reconciliation and report on tickets paid via any ATCL online platforms ;

Prepare reports to track all activities on all company’s social media platforms such as website, Instagram, YouTube etc, perform tests and assist in website conversion improvements ;

Coordinate all e-connnerce related ad spend across demand channels including, but not limited to, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Bing, and Remarketing platforms ;

Responsible for the online marketing activities aimed at increasing relevant traffic flow and sales conversion using display, email marketing, social media and affiliate campaigns, ensure delivery’ of all campaign applications on time, to budget and to the highest standard ;

Coordinate training of stake holders and ensure contact center, frontline sales and marketing are well versed with ATCL e-commerce products;

Run programs for enhancing acquisition revenue and ensure good channel satisfaction scores;

To create and maintain good business relationship with all stakeholders by providing timely information and updates for required reporting or/and decision making.

Masasi is one of the six districts of the Mtwara Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by the Lindi Region, to the east by the Newala District, to the south by the Ruvuma River and Mozambique and to the west by Nanyumbu District.
According to the 2012 Tanzania National Census, the population of Masasi District was 247,993 and in Masasi town the population was 102,696.[1]

Masasi District Council is among seven councils comprising Mtwara Region.
The district lies between 100 and 200 degrees south of the Equator and 360 and 380 degrees east of Greenwich. The district shares a border with Nachingwea and Ruangwa Districts to the North, Lindi and Newala Districts to the east, Ruvuma River to the south and Nanyumbu district to the West. The council’s headquarters is situated 210 kilometers west of Mtwara Municipality which is the regional headquarters.

The council has five administrative divisions, 23 wards and 159 villages and 864 hamlets. It has a total area of 3,829.9 sq km, and the physical size is 20.8% of the whole region. TANZANIA ELECTRIC SUPPLY COMPANY (TANESCO)
Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO) is a Parastatal organization established by Memorandum and Articles of Association incorporated in 26th November 1931 which established Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (the then Tanganyika Electric Supply Company Limited -TANESCO). The Company generates purchases, transmits, distributes and sells electricity to Tanzania Mainland and sells bulk power to the Zanzibar Electricity Corporation (ZECO), which in turn sells it to the Public in islands of Unguja and Pemba. TANESCO owns most of the electricity generating, transmitting and distributing facilities in Tanzania Mainland with estimated population of 50 million.

Recommended:

Historically, the German colonialists established the first public electricity supply in Tanzania, the then called Tanganyika in 1908 at Dar es Salaam. It served the railway workshops and a part of the town where the colonialists were mostly staying. In 1920, when Tanganyika territory was put under Great Britain protectorate, a Government Electricity Department was formed to take over and operate the public supplies left by the Germans. In 1931, the Government handed over the undertaking at Dar es Salaam and those elsewhere upcountry (Dodoma, Tabora and Kigoma) to private enterprises. One of these companies was the Tanganyika Electric Supply Company Ltd. (TANESCO) and the other Company was the Dar es Salaam and District Electric Supply Company Ltd (DARESCO). The two companies were merged in 1964 and later changed its name into Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO).

Tanzania Development Vision 2025 envisages to make the Country the middle income by 2025, this implies that GDP per Capita will be raised from USD 640 to at least USD 3,000 by 2025. Immediate Kangaroo Mother Care (I-KMC) Project is looking for interested and qualified candidates to fill the following posts;

DATA CLERKS (2 POST)

Report to Data manager –IKMC PROJECT

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PROJECT.

  • Adhere to the institutional policies and procedures surrounding the safety and protection of human participants
  • Assure participant privacy and confidentiality according to institutional regulations.
  • Ensure the accuracy, safety and confidentiality of data by following policies and procedures
  • Ensure the proper collection of completed and verified CRFs from the research assistants stationed in the labour ward and neonatal unit.
  • Transfer data from paper CRF into redcap database system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Perform double data entry from all the patient CRFs
  • Communicate the data queries to the respective research teams and the data manager where applicable
  • Send a list of patient due for follow on a daily basis to the outcome assessment and follow up teams.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Sort, organize and store all CRFs after entering data to ensure they are not lost
  • Retrieve data from the database as requested by PI or a co PI


QUALIFICATION, SKILLS EXPERIENCE

  • Successfully completed Ordinary “O” Level Secondary Education with PASSES in Kiswahili and English.
  • Degree in Information Technology/Advance Diploma in an information technology, health information management or scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education / training.
  • Previous experience in data management in quantitative research environment desirable.
  • Excellent database computing skills, including a high level of competency in the use of Microsoft Access (including the creation of databases, queries, forms etc.), Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail and a focus on quality and innovation.
  • Ability to priorities work, exercise initiative and work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues, including research scientists.


DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT

One-year contract with possibility of extension; subject to candidate’s performance and availability of fund for all positions.

(a) Qualification and Experience
