The Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award
was established by Cisco and Global Citizen to recognize and lift up a young person positively impacting the world, as a way to demonstrate the impact that young people are having on achieving the Global Goals, and to accelerate global problem solving.
Selected via an application process, the Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award honors an individual aged 18-30 who has contributed meaningfully towards the goal of ending global poverty. The award includes a $250,000 prize paid to the organization to which the individual contributes.

Eligibility

You must be 18-30 years old as of award ceremony in December 2019, and be able to travel to award ceremony to accept prize.
For a period of three years, you must be willing to do media interviews and appearances, and grant rights to GC and Cisco to use name, likeness and related content in GC or Cisco marketing campaigns and on GC or Cisco owned-platforms, such as cisco.com, globalcitizen.org and social platforms.
You must accept the terms and conditions as listed here.
You must not be a citizen of a country or entity subject to financial or other sanctions by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) or other government entity of the United States of America that may restrict the transfer of the Prize.
You must not be an employee of Global Citizen or Cisco.

The IT Client Support function is primarily tasked with ensuring the cohesive delivery of regional IT programs and initiatives, as well as aligning existing support channels with business needs. In achieving its objectives and providing for a best possible IT customer experience, Client Support directs and partners with CO/HQ IT Support teams, 24/7 IT Service Desks, Training and Outreach, as well as cross-functional teams delivering products and solutions.
Duties and Accountabilities:
• Experienced ET Temporary providing direct support to staff working in the Country Office.
• Works directly with customers to probe and ask effective questions to fully diagnose both the root cause of a problem and the customer’s comfort level with technology. Can assess complex, non-routine problems in their area of specialization.
• Supports and maintains the end user environment. This may include assessing, deploying, and
implementing hardware and software upgrades.
• Documents, maintains and enhances work processes and standards in the area, including documenting procedures for troubleshooting and incident resolution/solution.
• Participates in facilities work and vendor management, as part of CO administrative teams. Participates in security and business continuity activities.
• Troubleshoots, provide workarounds, and permanent fixes to issues identified in the end user environment. Provides technical solutions to imaging and post-install issues.
• Supports installation, maintenance, upgrades to local networks and communications infrastructure.

The E T Temporary will be the front-line contact for IT vis-a-vis staff in the office. S/he will respond to their questions and inquiries and provide requested information and assistance. S/he will support and maintain workstation software and deliver related services. S/he provides IT support, analysis, troubleshooting, and informal training on Bank-standard hardware and software. S/he will also provide basic support on IT infrastructure and networking products.

• Minimum Education/Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree or AA/AS degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Main Responsbilities

  • Control and direct receipt and distribution of product and equipment to agreed company standards
  • Monitoring stock cover on a daily basis to avert possible stock outs and overstocking.

Networks and Systems Administrator – International Court of Justice

Functions:
Under the supervision of the Head of the Information Technology Division and the immediate authority of the IT Systems Administrator, the incumbent will be responsible for the implementation, management and monitoring of all ICJ servers and telecommunications services.
He/she will be responsible for systems and network infrastructure administration and for providing Level 2 technical support to users. In this context, in collaboration with the IT Systems Administrator, and deputizing for him in his absence, the incumbent will carry out network technical support activities as follows:

Education:
Completion of secondary education in information technology, with an option in networks and systems administration. Certification from Cisco (CCNP, CCNA), Microsoft (MCSE) ITIL and Prince2 would be an advantage.
Experience:
· three to five years’ experience in wide and local area networks, including experience in server administration (Windows 2008/2012 environment) and virtualization (Hyper V);
· ability to communicate effectively and to deal with equipment vendors;
· ability to run diagnostic programs to locate malfunctions;
· detailed knowledge of communication protocols, internet networks, port connections, wiring and cabling is essential.

  2. Ensure that all helpdesk queries are answered appropriately via email, telephone call or in person.
  3. Assist in installation, operation and administration of the security for the various system and network components, including protection against viruses, access to email and Internet, relational database management systems and implementation of ITC disaster recovery services.

V. Education and Experience
  1. Degree in Information technology or computer science or a combination of relevant education and professional experience.
  2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in LAN/WAN networking environment.
  3. Working knowledge of: Windows Server 2008 software in a multi-site environment, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, TCP/IP Protocol, Cisco Router Configuration, Windows 7 administration.
  4. Experience with HP/Compaq, IBM, Cisco, and Siemon equipment.
  5. Experience in Web site development and administration is an extra advantage.
  6. Ability to design and configure networks

IT Support Specialist – The World Bank

The IT Support Specialist will be the front-line contact for IT vis-à-vis staff in the Jamaica office. S/he will respond to their questions and inquiries and provide requested information and assistance. S/he will support and maintain workstation software and deliver related services. S/he provides IT support, analysis, troubleshooting, and informal training on Bank-standard hardware and software. S/he will also provide basic support on IT infrastructure and networking products.
Other responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
  • Provide technical support to end users of institutional standard software packages such as Outlook 2013, Microsoft Office Suite 2010/2013, SAP client, Windows 7, local network access and remote access through VPNs and Citrix RDP client to virtual and real machines.
  • Coordinate, plan and schedule the installation and deployment of new images, software/hardware upgrades, and fixes.
  • As part of the Emergency Management Team, assist in Business Continuity procedures: Verify backup systems and implement as necessary backup and restore procedure.
